Ellie Lee is a Business Manager/Patient Care Manager, OR Information Management Services/Pre-Anesthesia Clinic at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, in Toronto, Ontario Canada. She has contributed to a variety of fields at Sunnybrook within the last 30 years working in Finance, Decision Support, IT and most recently the Operating Room.

For the past 10 years, Ellie has guided the IT development within the OR & Related Services at Sunnybrook Hospital leading her team comprised of system architects, developers, data analysts, RN’s and front line patient administrators. As a group they are tasked with system development, process improvement and advancing the quality of care and services provided to patients and families within the Operating Room & Related Services. Her demonstrated ability to lead a variety of technical and non-technical staff through advanced technology and design, enabled the development and deployment of passive RFID Patient Tracking at Sunnybrook.

Ellie has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from University of Toronto. She sits on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Association of Ambulatory Care as the Vice President of Web Design and Publications.
