Enhance Security While Saving Costs of Vehicle Identification in Parking
Watch the Webinar
Automated Vehicle Identification for Tolling and Parking: RFID vs ANPR
The Webinar
Vehicle identification to control access into a gated parking area is accomplished by one of two methods; optically using cameras to read a vehicle license plate or wirelessly using a radio frequency tag. Only one of these methods is secure, 100% accurate, can effectively cover multiple lanes and costs less to implement and maintain.
The focus of this webinar is a new product launched by FEIG Electronics at the International Security Show for automatic vehicle identification. The low cost device enables a single RFID reader to cover two lanes of traffic and will be shown in action by Q-SAQ in booth #732 at International Parking Show being held at the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center in Orlando, Florida June 4-6, 2018
In this webinar you will learn:
- About the Wiegand Switch - what it does and what it offers
- How implementing the Wiegand Switch saves money by reducing hardware requirements
- How radio frequency identification performance compares to license plate recognition
Michael Hrabina, the Executive Vice President of FEIG ELECTRONICS, Inc. will present how private, commercial and government parking authorities can improve security while reducing costs.
