Introducing John Beasley: FEIG Electronics’ New Field Applications Engineer

Feig Electronics

At FEIG Electronics, we’re thrilled to welcome John Beasley to our team as a Field Applications Engineer. With over a month on the job, John is already making an impact by leveraging his extensive background in project management and software development to support our customers.

John’s Journey to FEIG

John’s career path began with Bibliotheca, a leading provider of library solutions, where he was first introduced to RFID technology. His role as a Project Manager there allowed him to dive deep into technical environments, ensuring the seamless integration of RFID systems. This experience laid the groundwork for his transition to Comcast, where he spent seven years managing complex projects and honing his technical skills. During his time at Comcast, John earned his PMP (Project Management Professional) and ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner) certifications, expanding his expertise in both traditional and agile methodologies and is also studying for a CISSP certification.

Driven by a newfound passion for coding, John immersed himself in software development, learning Java and JavaScript, and working on node JS applications. This combination of project management and technical skills made John the perfect fit for FEIG Electronics, where he now helps our customers optimize the functionality of our products.

Why FEIG?

For John, joining FEIG was an opportunity too good to pass up. He was drawn to the technical challenges and opportunities to apply his project management skills in a more hands-on technical role. He’s excited to delve deeper into the technical side of things, from advising customers on custom applications to ensuring they get the most out of our products.

Beyond the Office

Outside of work, John is an avid reader with a passion for continuous learning. He’s always taking courses to expand his knowledge, proving that it’s never too late to discover and pursue new passions. He’s also a musician, playing both guitar and bass, and enjoys creative landscaping projects in his free time—though he admits the hot summers in Duluth can put a damper on outdoor activities!

Looking Ahead

As John looks forward to meeting the FEIG team in Germany this October, we’re excited to see how his skills and enthusiasm will contribute to our continued success. His unique blend of project management, technical expertise, and passion for learning makes him a valuable addition to our team.

Welcome to FEIG, John! We’re excited to have you on board and look forward to many successful years together.
