As a forward-thinking company, FEIG Electronics is committed to constant innovation, aiming to enhance its products for optimal performance, quality, design, and availability.
Since Q1/2014, the ID ISC.PRH200 reader has stood as a powerful device in the market. In response to technological advancements, evolving customer needs, and component market dynamics, we are excited to announce the introduction of its successor, the PRH200-BW.
The new Mobile Reader ID PRH200-BW boasts an upgraded, up-to-date Wi-Fi module (2.4 GHz & new 5 GHz), a new Bluetooth LE (BLE) V5.0 interface, and a highly secure WPA Enterprise interface. The new BLE interface enables the simultaneous communication of a tablet or mobile phone with the reader ID PRH200-BW (BLE) and the host or database. While the design, housing, battery, and reliable RFID interface remain unchanged, the addition of the BLE interface facilitates swift connections to Windows, Android, and iOS applications.
Specifically designed for contactless data exchange with ISO 15693 transponders, especially in library settings, the ID PRH200-BW is a compact, wireless handheld reader. Its applications span inventory management, media searches, automatic checking/rewriting of AFI bytes, and more, with the flexibility to work with ISO 18000-3M3 transponders in areas such as laundry, logistics, document, and asset management.
The ID PRH200-BW offers adjustable output power levels (Standard Mode: 1.5 W/Boost Mode: 4 W) based on media type and reading distance. Powered by a Lithium Ion rechargeable battery, it provides up to 16 hours of operation. Five multi-colored LED lights and an integrated sounder serve as display elements, conveying relevant states on both sides of the reader.
A Wi-Fi interface supporting common encryption protocols facilitates communication with databases or computers.
In our commitment to seamless migration, we’ve paid special attention to the design, ensuring maximum compatibility. For further details, please visit our website or contact dgreenway@feig-electronics.com.
