cVEND plug, cVEND box/box+ and cVEND PIN are now certified through 2026

Today, FEIG ELECTRONICS, a leading global supplier of RFID readers and antennas, announced that their contactless payment terminals cVEND plugcVEND box and cVEND box+ join cVEND PIN as they receive PCI 5.1 certification valid through April 2026.

Moving forward, FEIG ELECTRONICS will deliver all contactless payment terminals in its cVEND product group with PCI PTS 5.1 certification, thereby demonstrating the viability and support of these payment terminals into 2026.

Since the FEIG cVEND contactless payment terminals are now field PCI 5.1 certified until at least 2026, companies that implement contactless payment systems for ticketing, parking access, vending machines, or kiosk systems will have the highest available security for their application investment.

Although the previous and still valid PCI PTS 4.x certification of the payment terminals cVEND plug and cVEND box / box +, which have been established on the market for many years and will support sales until 2023, this recertification was employed to provide the market with clear confirmation that enables planning, large scale implementation, and future use of the product family.

In parallel with the PCI 5.1 certification, FEIG has successfully completed the  recertification of the EMVCo Level 1 and Level 2 contactless terminals for American Express, Discover, Mastercard, and VISA.

The cVEND contactless payment family from FEIG ELECTRONICS continues to offer maximum service life, the highest level of security, and maximum flexibility for all contactless payment applications in addition to its outstanding product features.
