As a preferred NXP technology and development partner, FEIG Electronics worked with NXP to fully support all features of the brand new UCODE DNA IC with its OBID i-scan™ UHF RFID reader family.

The new NXP uCODE DNA with FEIG OBID i-scan UHF RFID readers are ideal for use in a wide variety of applications, such as electronic road tolling, electronic vehicle registration, license plate authentication, access control, asset tracking, brand protection, parking, and fast visitor processing and special service offering at large scale venues, sports stadiums or entertainment parks.

FEIG’s RFID Reader firmware is a chip agostic platform that fully supports UHF transponders (865-960 MHz) from all top IC providers including NXP, Impinj, Alien, RFMicron, and more. The FEIG OBID i-scan™ product line is compatible standards such as with EPC Gen 2, EPC Gen2 V2.0, ISO18000-6 and now ISO/IEC 29167-10 standardized cryptographic security using 128-bit key based on AES (advanced encryption standard) algorithms.
